
{"id":2226,"date":"2025-10-19T19:28:35","date_gmt":"2025-10-19T12:28:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/diarybe.com\/?p=2226"},"modified":"2025-12-13T17:11:59","modified_gmt":"2025-12-13T10:11:59","slug":"note-of-3-days-prolonged-fasting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/diarybe.com\/2025\/note-of-3-days-prolonged-fasting\/","title":{"rendered":"note of 3 days prolonged fasting"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Feeding day (Day after fasting)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Second day 52.45 kg\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>I feel a lot calmer, less impulsive, and less addicted; also, my self-control is much better.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reading is good with a new idea of <strong>listing all possible productive activities in a day<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>First day weight 51.15 kg\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Morning\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>No dizziness after waking up(drink plenty\/enough of water before bed)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After Breakfast\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Meditation goes well, peaceful and calm on the breath.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>My work was not as good as before<\/strong>. My mind didn&#8217;t function so well.  There is some kind of <strong>brain fog and slower thinking<\/strong>.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>-&gt; It might be some kind of <strong>recovery phase<\/strong>, in which the body in the prolonged fasting stage will develop <strong>temporary insulin resistance in the muscle cell<\/strong>(preserve glucose for the brain). Thus, <strong>the body might not be able to manage new carbohydrates and glucose nutrients so well<\/strong>, which results in brain fog and slower thinking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>=&gt; One solution might be <strong>having light exercise, such as a light walk for 10-15 minutes after eating<\/strong>, in order to increase insulin sensitivity in muscle cells.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After noon \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>After lunch\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Go for a walk, better thinking, but<\/strong> <strong>still not so good as the usual<\/strong>. Working is still not at full potential.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Try a pencil push-up. Reading goes smoothly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Third day weight 52.5kg(morning)-51.8kg(evening) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Morning\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On waking up, my body felt heavier, little bit of dizziness.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>But after taking 1\/2 tsp of salt with plenty of water, coffee, a shower, and having some movement, it felt better.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It feels a little bit less energetic but much better than the last 3 fasts. It seems like my body has already adapted to this new prolonged fasting. It feels quite normal to me now.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evening\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A little bit tried and carving for food, but after drinking plenty of water, everything is all right.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Still can&#8217;t read much after work. Meditation helps somewhat, but not entirely. My mind was still messy.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>-&gt; <strong>I should walk after work to clear my mind.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Second day weight 52.9kg(morning)-52.35kg(evening)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Morning\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>can remember a dream quite well, but can&#8217;t separate it from real life.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Salt 1\/2 tsp is enough, with plenty of water\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>-&gt; no dizziness on waking up<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drink coffee (arabica 5g)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Still addicted and procrastinating\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>-&gt; The problem came from being unable to focus &gt; can&#8217;t read well, even taking a lot of effort &gt; and procrastinating. If the person can focus well, then he can read well, and no procrastination occurs. The key is meditation; fasting is just a helper.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meditation is calm, peaceful.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>my reading is so much better after doing 30 minute of meditation, <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Afternoon\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>My reading is so very much better than regular reading on feeding day. Also, my thought ability is faster with better focused.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>I can read while talking to the other people, then immediately turn back to read again without lacking from refocusing my thoughts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>My facial skin is shedding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>First day weight 54kg<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Morning\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Even though I do HIIT in the morning, I feel a lack of energy all day.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>-&gt; Maybe, I should <strong>place the first day on the day that has less workload<\/strong> ?, because of the lack of energy from the metabolic switching.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><s>-&gt; Exercise can&#8217;t help to increase energy?<\/s>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:#FFEE58\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Exercise is still necessary on the first day of fasting, to shorten the ketosis time from 48 to 36 hr.(which is a significant improvement for work. at day two)<\/mark><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I would try <s>moderate exercise on the first day<\/s>. -> HIIT is doable with better results in cognitive improvement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>  But day one is still suck.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Salt 1\/2 tsp is enough<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evening\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>My Tetris score comes back to &gt; 28k in the evening, which means that my brain works better after 24-hour fasting.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>-&gt;  Maybe, I should compare with OMAD.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>My reading turned to be speechless reading, no sound in my head while reading, which made me read a lot faster.
