30th Sun

  • Meditation while stomach is empty gives me back my peaceful and calm moment.

29 Sat

  • Addictive from gaming is much worse than brain plasticity benefit which can be substitute by reading, exercising, traveling to new place, and doing something new. Messed up dopamine caused by gaming decrease over all productivity.

28th Fri

  • Today, it is the day that I finished fasting, I can work so great, much faster and smarter. I think I can decide a lot better and my brain is more powerful in thinking.
  • I think some people feel kind of weird when I read, what is the matter of my reading to them? – I think if I feel this, it means that they are not such a good or smart people.
  • I feel tired of reading programming at dental clinic. But I think as long as my work is still good, it doesn’t matter.
  • I think taking a nap might not be better than meditation at evening, because napping might be no use if it is no deep sleep involved.
    • I still have to sleep more even though I take a nap in the evening.
  • Good relationship isn’t built by invasion of the personal boundary, but just the respect of the boundary of each other.

27th Thu

  • My emotional problem might come from sleeping problem.
    • I think it came from meditation problem
  • On the right time occasion, even the time as short as 30 mins is very important for me.
  • I am thinking of taking a nap at evening around 30 mins which separate it from my main sleep, so I might decrease my sleep hours from 7 hours to 6:30 hours.
  • I found that reading out loud make me focus better, but it need some times for brain to adjust to this reading type.

26th Wed

  • I think I should be a little bit more considerate about other colleagues around me, we should work together happily, not stressfully. But I also must still be able to read my books without interruption.
  • I found that even though I use my eyes a lot for work, after that I can still read programming, which imply that it is not about my eye problem(not that much, but dopamine?)
    • However, it is still not clear. If I choose to read dentistry instead, I might be able to read it too, which might suggest that it is not my dopamine problem and may be because my eye muscles have become stronger, I’ve increased my eye exercise practice.
  • However, today I work a little bit slower, it might be because of yesterday retained push up that fatigue my eyes?
  • I shouldn’t care for the other people who don’t care for me, it’s unsensible and stupid. If that environment is toxic and don’t appreciate your present or your doing, then you should come out.

25th Tue

  • Meditation after morning pencil push up is better than after eating but not the best as after showering.
  • My work is so much better today. I think it is because of my pencil push up training.

24th Mon

  • I found that after 1 week of OMAD, my typing speed is much slower.
  • Meditation requires empty stomach to achieve the best result.
  • I still have a problem in reading after work. I can’t read or focus smoothly like in the morning. I didn’t sure if it is the brain or eye fatigue problem.
    • I think walking in the park with nature around for 15 minutes would help.
  • Shortnote is suitable for the thing that didn’t have much detail or when you fully understand the concept of it. Because if it has too much detail(which usually because you don’t deeply understand the concept, your shortnote won’t differ from just another a little bit shorter summary not a conceptual shortnote.
  • Gaming is suck. Although it has a benefit of brain plasticity, it is no better than reading more and more or playing piano.
  • I work well today, though I using screen before work and do pencil push up in the morning.
    • The problem mightn’t be relate to my eye sight, but my dopamine.
  • Doing no harm to the others is much better than giving. Because if there are two people, one give you money but harm your future, the other one doesn’t give you money, but doesn’t harm your future, which one will you choose? It will certainly be the one who doesn’t harm you, won’t it?

22nd Sat

  • The problem I face with at the present is that I can’t read after work (or in the evening).
  • Meditation after eating dinner is good to do but there is an adverse effect which is sleepiness after doing.
  • Retained pencil push up is good way to replenish dopamine, which make me be able to continue my high friction activities without hesitation.
  • I’m still in doubt that whether the benefit of brain plasticity in playing action game will be good enough to allow me to add in to my schedule.
    • I think 2 times(30minx2) a week should be enough.
    • I think I wouldn’t do gaming, the effect seem varies and unreliable between different game. And it also stimulates my ADHD symptom.

21st Fri

  • Although my face is much smoother after fasting around 22hrs yesterday, it doesn’t has the moment like my brain is on fire in prolonged fasting 84hrs.
    • I also waking up at 6 am which mean I’ve slept for 8hr.
  • Today, I can work so much better by eating proper amount of food in the morning. What did I do in the morning?
    • no pencil push up
    • no meditation
    • no running, just squat 25×3
    • just eat proper amount of food
  • The problem is that I can not get familiarized my female colleagues.
  • I found that reading from screen doesn’t affect my operative work, but pencil push up before working does!?
    • Or it is just caused by eating too much in OMAD?

20th Thu

  • I think the best is to prolonged fasting > OMAD(eat breakfast) > OMAD(eat dinner), it is much more compliable and convenient to do
  • OMAD by eating breakfast is so great because
    • no dropping of work performance from the transition phase(G to K switching) like when fasting in the morning and eat dinner
    • meditation is so much better when it is done while fasting more than 12 hours.
    • Huge better sleeping while stomach is empty, compare to sleeping while having a very tight big meal.
      • require less sleep time -> more effective sleeping
      • better healing
      • more energetics
  • I found that OMAD by eating in the morning also drop my performance by a huge meal that need a lot digestion resource which decrease by brain function
    • dopamine reserve drop – drop of will power to thing -> it makes my brain feel like I have already had enough food today and no need to do anything more.
    • I can’t focus and thing clearly. I have brain fog after eating such a huge meal like that and my work is not okay at all.

19 Wed

  • I found that eating a big meal at evening makes me sleep and tired a lot more. I shouldn’t do this anymore.
  • This morning, I didn’t do pencil push up and found that my work is a lot better which might mean that I shouldn’t do push up before work.

18 Tue

  • The problem of eating a big meal at evening is that the food isn’t digest fast enough, and when we go to sleep while the digestion hasn’t finished yet, which will leave undigested food in digestive organ and create toxic and also elevate blood sugar all night.
    • Sol? – > Try not to eating too much(just stop when your stomach is full).
  • The problem of eating a big meal in the morning is that you will not want to do anything because of dopamine is depleted. And you also have to exercise at evening which air quality is so bad from high traffic. But it is better for your blood sugar and body health in the long run.
    • Sol? – > you can also find the other place to exercise at evening such as larger park, gym.
  • Mostly I prefer what is more convenient and compliant in daily life which is eating at evening.
  • However, I think I should eat in the morning and exercise in the morning & evening no matter how hard it is.

16 Sun

  • I found that doing OMAD by eating in the morning make me sleep so much better.
    • The drawback is that I can’t exercise before eating(but only after). Eating a big meal without exercise is not pleasant at all.
  • Although you mightn’t turn back to read diary again, writing diary still has a lot of benefits, it helps you clarify your thought, clear your mind, summarized your ideas into better form. It is very easy and perfect tool, but it will be better to writing diary in digital form, because it can be searched back again when you want, so just write, and leave.
  • Try meditation after shower and before eating(or when the stomach is empty), it might be a lot better.
    • I’ve tried it, it is true that while stomach empty, meditation is so much calmer and goes deeper.
  • I would try just watching my mind(ดูจิต) as my kammathan(it can be both samatha and vipatsana). But for meditation, I would just do it as exercise, no expectation of anything better.
  • Meditation -> Exercise -> Eat
  • At evening, the mood changed, the focus changed. Eye muscle more tired, brain more fatigue.
    • Dopamine boost activity can help
    • Routine for skill might be suitable.
    • Or eating OMAD at evening
  • They just hire me to do perfect dentistry work, not to do programming things.
    • If the programming at work make the dental work worsen, you should stop read programming at work.
      • Programming mightn’t be the cause, but it might possibly be reading from screen that cause eye problems.
      • Or I should read programming in e-reader at work to make my work better?

14 Fri

  • Don’t do the thing that betray yourself and your principle to please the others. If they hate you because of what you are and what you do, so they aren’t your true friends, and you should keep distance, be cautious, and protect yourself & emotion from them.
    • It’s also possible that everyone in your environment aren’t your friend. But it doesn’t mean that you have to hate them or they are your enemy, just keep distance wisely, they have their own reasons and their points of views in their doing, as same as you.
  • Next week I will eat one meal a day and see the result of less inflammation whether it can make my thought better compare to prolonged fasting.

13th Thu

  • My mind feel a lot clearer after fasting for 24 hours or sleep with empty stomach. I can wake up very fresh and no sleepiness.
    • Next week, I think I would try eating one meal a day at the morning and see if I still get better, and compare it to the result of my 3 days prolonged fasting.
      • soaking bean the night before and then cook in the morning(5am) and eat at 6 am, then exercise at evening.
      • Do this every day(eat more at the weekends), and build muscles. If the weight gains, do 3 day prolonged fasting(loss muscle in exchange for a smarter brain)
    • Is it just about anti-inflammatory effect from Fasting that help clear my brain from suspected sjogren’s syndrome and makes it smarter, nothing about BDNF?
      • Because last week even though I tried prolonged fasting with more exercises, I still not get much better but a little bit worse than before.
  • HIIT vs moderate exercise
    • I found that moderate to high exercise(run fast, but not fastest) give me higher heart rate than sprinting.
  • I found that using e-ink when working don’t help much on my eyes compare to the case that I have time to rest my eye when I read on screen, and also it decreased my reading amount(may be because of inadequate light).
  • Which factor urge me to take a shower faster?
  • Paraphasing after reading is such a good way to practice English and also help remember the thing I read

12th Wed

  • I found that even I try sit up straight, I still can’t do meditation well, I think the main factor is like Pra ajarn Pramote told that is just to learn the body and mind and the calmness will occur as additional.
  • I would change back to fasting at tue, wed, thu days. Because my first meal would start a lot better(gradually increase). But I would do it in the next week by eating one meal a day at Tue.
  • I found that after doing more retained pencil push up, I can do my work so much better(more precise). But my scaling skill get worse, it might be because of I did strength training on the arms yesterday.
    • But I still got a strain on my both eyes at the end of the day, which might be because of the endurance of my eye muscles is still need to be improved.

11th Tue

  • Chanting before sleep makes me sleep so much better
  • Do the work thing before life things
    • doesn’t read much for work and for life
  • I found that sit fully up right and straight is just the key to do meditation. Today is the first peacefully rest of my mind after several ADHD anxious weeks.
  • I found that my work becomes worse because I did less eye exercises after I try new routine.

9th Sun

  • I think the cause of poor focusing is sugary diet.

8th Sat

  • Why do I need so much time to manage life even in my weekend and still have very little time to read?

7th Fri

  • Today is the third day of fasting, I can run very moderate to fast pace around 10 minutes(2km). It implies that my body can exercise in the fasting day. However, I can’t really do HIIT, because it require glycogen in muscle which left not much after few fasting days.
  • My meditation still doesn’t go well. Also, I found that my work became worse, I think it might be because of too much fasting without enough fat storage?
  • I would try reading for work at work and reading for life after work, and see if it will be better or not.(I used to try conversely but I don’t have the energy left for reading more after work.)
    • I think this method might work well because it is in harmony with my work environment.

5th Wed

  • Although, I sleep quite much this time(8hr), I still feel asleep after doing meditation in the evening.
  • Eating day makes my brain rotted, I can’t read well or think well in those days.
    • It caused by my worrying about don’t get enough nutrition, so I eat more a lot, which makes my focus worse, and also my sleep.
    • What if I create the system that would makes me get enough nutrient without affecting my sleep or my brain.
  • Taking note in computer is so much better than in paper.
  • English is not that hard, it is just another subject like Sciences, Maths, Programming etc., which require neuroplasticity to learn.
  • I’m not sure that which one is better between doing things that I like first or keep it the last?
  • My meditation get worsen. Caffeine doesn’t help. Caffeine also causes my hand shake.

2nd Sun

  • My meditation becomes worse => no calm and peaceful in it. I think the cause are
    • lack of sleeps
    • inconsistent routines, too many changes and chaos.
    • Too much social.
  • When my meditation improves, my life improves..
    When my meditation gets worse, my life also gets worse…
    So, meditation is the most important things in my life .
    • The factors that improve meditation are sleep well, exercise, HIIT, eat small / proper amount, no gaming in the morning
    • The factors that worsen meditation are poor sleep, binge eating, sedentary life style(no physical movement), loss dopamine by entertainment in the day.
  • I think my focusing problem may came from emotional exhaustion (from work) which hasn’t fully recover. It might also caused by lack of sleep chronically. I think I would try doing more meditation and sleep.
    • Stress > don’t want to sleep > stress >… this is a dead spiral. I would try sleeping more(8hr) and see if my focusing would be better.

1st Sat

  • Today, I wake up at the midnight (2:30 am). I found that even though I do prolong fasting but lack of sleeping still makes me can’t focus well on reading.
  • I found that reading alone might not work, but I might need to short note the thing I read to make a revise faster.
