- The First priority of learning English is Grammar. Because it will at least make you understand what type of sentence you received(Question, imperative, affirmative, subjunctive clause, etc.). Even though you know the words, but lack of grammar knowledge can still lead to an incorrect interpretation.
Grammar is the fundamental of reading, writing and speaking. - Then, the second important thing is reading. This is the only way to gain vocabulary capacity as a foreigner. The more words you know, the more words you can recognize from listening.
Reading is the primitive of listening. - All 90% of language skills are covered by learning grammar and reading. If you master them, listening and speaking(pronunciation), which are 10% remaining, can be easily learned within a very short time(compared to grammar and reading learning) by imitation.

- Eating less animal protein but more plant protein(beans and grains) makes me feel much better.
Wed 28th
- Don’t talk shit to the other people. Remember the worst days in your life, you don’t like them, so do the others. Talk shit will never makes thing better.
Tue 27th
- Today, I found that I could read even on the tablet screen with full engagement by reading it without highlighting, which will make your brain work more to recognize the information because there are no excusing tools like highlighting or shortnoting, but it has to remember all of the content by itself.
- However, reading on a tablet screen makes my eyes dry and fatigued, which is not good if I read it on a working day(I need to use my eyes a lot for my work)

- Marketing makes you feel like you need the product to make your life better, but before making a decision, you should wait for a week; you will realize that you mightn’t need it.
Sun 25th
- Knowledge is the real treasure.
- Reading the third time is the sweet spot for me for a normal read; at this point, I start to catch up with the content I read.
- I found that reading on an e-ink e-reader is much better than on a display. It is like my eyes can see much easier and a wider field of view on paper-like screen than light emiting screen.

- It is discipline and challenging yourself every day and every time.

- Read on E-reader, not on screen
- I found that the most effective reading is reading on an E-reader and note-taking on a laptop.
Fri 16th
- I need to do more meditation, it has diminished my anxiety very effectively.
- I found that after eating a big meal late at night, my thoughts would always be slower the following day(not in the optimal stage).
- I would try IF 12/12 one day, then IF 36/12 the next day

Tue 13rd
- I think imitation of anime is work, to improve my English speaking.
- I should be gentle to my body; eating too much is not good at all.
- Today, I tried OMAD at dinner. I found that it still tightens my stomach the same as eating alternate days.
- Thus, I think I would turn back to eat alternate day again.
- The tip is that you should not eat fine carbs at all.
Mon 12nd
- Instead of watching entertainment in my free time, I would read fiction because it provides not only entertainment, but also language structure, which is highly necessary for developing my language skills.
- I think it is worth trying OMAD with HIIT because
- OMAD is also effective in maintaining cognitive function
- I’ve never tried both combined.
- I would try it for 1 week
Sun 11st
- Today, I can’t read as good as the day before yesterday(Friday) when I did prolonged fasting with less calorie intake(because I have some fever and lack of appetite).
- What I did are
- No food after sunset, esp dinner meal(Thursday)
- Calorie deficit, because of a lack of appetite(Thursday)
- No exercise?!, because of fever(Thursday&Friday)
- Reading peacefully all day(Friday)
- What I did are
- I think my current alternate-day fasting method has some drawbacks that cause me to lose my focus.
- Overeating after sunset causes inflammation and harm to the liver, kidneys, digestive tract, and metabolism. – OMAD in the evening might be acceptable
- Exercise causes a lot of minor injuries. Then, without food, it might cause inflammation. – OMAD in the evening might help with healing.
Sat 10th
- My meditation is duller because I spend more time wandering around the internet and social media.
- The MacBook Air 13.6″ is so good. It makes my life much more convenient, especially for knowledge management.
- After eating refined carbohydrates, I always lack focus on my reading, otherwise my reading will be more difficult to maintain focus.
- Today, I spent so much time watching anime. I think it is not different in entertaining or enjoyment, but more beneficial, if I read novels instead.
- The other cause, I think, might be that I ate so much refined carbohydrate that my blood sugar became unstable, which made my focus worse.
- I think I would try eating one meal a day and exercising (HIIT) every other day.

Stuff quality is not a major participant in self-development, but self-control is
- I’ve just bought MacBook Air M4 13.4″ and found that the productivity it can provide hugely depends on how I use it, not the device itself.
- If I use it in the right way, it helps support me a lot, or even multiplies my productivity.
- Conversely, if I use it in the wrong way(i.e., entertainment), it can also support, or even multiply, my undiscipline, procrastination, or addiction habit.
- It is like if you have an expensive and powerful sports car, it might enhance your driving experience a lot more fun. But if you drive recklessly, the chance of a fatal accident will increase dramatically, which is so very far more dangerous than driving a normal car.
- The solution might be to use it in the best way that you can. Don’t try to put yourself into another person’s shoes. A high-quality device might be able to do many things, but you don’t need to do all the things it can provide, or as other people do; you should spend all your time do just the things that you have or need to do and let’s it enhance your life..
