28th Fri

  • I think I should use computer for an alternate day(every other day) because it decreases my productivity with endless scrolling and also retard my brain.

27th Thu

  • Didn’t read much today. I will try placing laptop on the desk again but turned of the lamp to see if the laptop really distracts me or it is the lamp that deteriorates my reading.

26th Wed

  • I still didn’t read much in each day
    • I found that reading under natural light without any artificial light is much better.
    • I found that after move my laptop out of my desk and left only the e-ink e-reader, my focus came back which it is a lot better. It implied that the laptop or any other communicating device are the cause of distraction and procrastination.
  • I loss a lot of profit from stock because of consumer’s confidence is lower from unveiling Trump’s policies

25th Tue

  • I think I should read multiple things in each eay. Because reading only one thing is too boring.
  • My language skill and typing skill decreased so much, I don’t know why, but I think I have to start over my practice again.
    • I think, for English, I should learn grammar because if I just use experiences, the memories will not retain for that long. But if I know grammar, I can bind my experience to the grammar structure knowledge and make it retains longer.
  • I found that our body need only a quarter(1/4) to a half(1/2) of teaspoon of salt per day to function normally. Also, healthy kidneys are great at retaining sodium. Only in the day that large amount of sodium is lost in sweat eg. exercise, a teaspoon of salt should be taken.

  • My meditation became worse. It may be because I didn’t practice much after I entered the new apartment.

24th Mon

  • I found that an alternate day fasting made my mind much clearer than OMAD(one meal a day) even the calorie intake is the same.
  • If you don’t even have time to stack or tidy up your clothes, maybe your life is too busy.

23 Sun

  • I found that an alternate day fasting(IF 36/12) is better than omad
  • Forgive anyone especially after you have a better life, there is no need and non-sense to revenge. Anyone have their one karma, it is not your duty at all to punish them.
  • Mindfulness is the only way to cure addiction

22 Sat

  • Problem: Bad sleep, not enough energy, but didn’t want to eat while working, addict to entertainment(usually while eating), don’t have a chunk of time to read, want a day off from eating(8 precept)

21 Fri

  • I found that eating grain in the evening make me sleepless?. It may be because it was hard to digest.
    • Poor sleep quality cause a huge trouble to me, it drain my energy and focus on work and reading.
  • Now, I start doing the activity tracking again. It helps me follow what I miss along the day.

15th Sat

  • I think pencil push up should done within the range that the eyes can focus in order to teach the nervous system to learn new accommodation-convergence relationship.
    • For the range that out of eyes focus(which is too near to focus), it will be useless and even cause the adverse effect which is that the eyes will probably learn to be over convergence.

14th Fri

  • Stay home didn’t read any page of book! It may be because I stayed home and didn’t have any physical movement.
    • And it may be because that I also watching Cartoon in the morning which decrease my dopamine reserve.

13rd Thu

  • At this time, I eat one day a meal IF 20/4
  • My reading has got so much better after I did pencil push up(vision therapy) for a while.
    • Today, after doing pencil push up for a while, I found that my eye can really focus a lot more than before.(In the long preceding time, my eye didn’t really focus!)

12nd Wed

  • Going back to old work(as a general dentist)
    • It was because the opportunity had come I didn’t mean to do this, because Dentistry was always so hard for me, but this work was just at the basic level that every dentist should be able to do.
      • I was not sure whether it was because of the merit that I had given the donation to the venerable monk just before this opportunity happened
  • Pencil push up make my reading gradually and significantly better
  • Change an eating pattern to one meal a day(IF 20/4) in order to try adapting to the new work.
  • Doesn’t read much today but waste a lot of time finding an information to buy a bicycle.
    • It is the second hand bike(with good quality brand)
