Brain booster: Exercise for short term, and Fasting for long term

HIIT Exercise

  • Boost BDNF 3-5folds(but only 30mins) -> good for brain plasticity but not so enriched as prolonged fasting(36hr)
  • Increases blood supply to brain -> increases short term performance (more energetic, faster thinking, more ideas)
  • Increases Red blood cell counts -> better oxygen transportation increases performance in intermediate term

Alternate day fasting (IF 36/12)

  • increases BDNF 3-4 folds(but for the actual research it needs 48 hrs fasting)
    • increase brain plasticity in intermediate and long term
