- What happened to me? I just can’t read during the weekend holiday, but watching anime all the time.
- I think I can read more, but also easier to be angry, more emotional.
- I think I should get up earlier on the feeding days to eat earlier. Because my digestion is slower a lot. I found that it takes around 12 hrs to completely digest those grains and beans with chicken breast meals.
- Slow digestion problem: try 2 serve a meal x 3 times a day, keep separating it at least 2 hours, not one big meal.
- It might not be the problem of technology but the entertainment and distraction

- For English language skill development, I think it is important to learn the fundamentals first, such as Grammar and vocabulary (from reading a lot). Because our brain will learn from what we have known before and stack them up, so as long as we don’t learn the fundamentals, we would never improve our language skills.

- Tried doing moderate exercise with constant speed when fasting, I think it will make the body burn fat more stably.
- The result is that it causes me some dizziness. I think only light exercise, not more than walking, is preferred.
- This is my second day of prolonged fasting. It is greatly impressive that my work performance is 2 times better! even than the feeding day that I do HIIT.
- I feel like my skin is shedding. It’s like every part of my body is renewing itself.
- Also, my reading is faster. I found that I tend to ignore the unimportant information(to preserve energy) and gain more core concepts.
- Movies tend to be boring; instead, knowledge tends to be entertaining. My brain is sparking.

- Today, I am going out to a bookstore. I found that the environment has a lot of influence on determining our decisions in doing things.
- My current environment is quite leading to unlimited entertainment. I should change it to be unlimited knowledge.

Sat 23rd
- I think prolonged fasting didn’t help much with my habitual changing(I read less and produce fewer ideas). Or I didn’t fast for long enough? (3 days)
- Though prolonged fasting helps sharpen my mind and thought, it decreases my ability to think. It seems like my body doesn’t draw out the energy conserved(fat) enough for the brain to think; so the brain doesn’t work much, even though the way to think is much clearer and more efficient.
Fri 22nd
- I found that just continuing the fasting after exercising(especially HIIT) – no morning meal – makes my body calmer, less messy, and focus better, especially if I practice meditation.
- Today is my 1st fasting day, I found that I can focus a lot better than on feeding days(even though I did HIIT on those feeding days)

- I still can’t read while eating; I need to train myself in this skill.
- Instead of crying about other people’s faults, which is very common for humankind, I should focus on improving myself. Read more, Endure more.

- I was wrong to care about people who didn’t really care about me.
They just want me as a tool to fix their life.
Even though I help them, they still look down on me, because they don’t actually have knowledge to evaluate my abilities.
We are just colleagues, not friends, who can really exchange opinions and knowledge together.
You have to do what I really have to, which is reading, without caring about other people.

- If I can watch YouTube while eating, why can’t I read while eating?
- The reason why I can’t read much in a day is that when I have read well enough, I would feel like I’ve achieved it, then I wouldn’t have the intention to do it anymore.
- The solution is that I should create a condition that my reading would never be good enough by challenging it more and more, which is like when I am addicted to games that challenge me to nearly win or nearly lose(not the games that I win or lose all the time).
- I had focusing and sleep problems while I did prolonged fasting, I think it was because I didn’t take enough sodium. I should have it 3 times a day with 1/4 tsp for each.

- I found that if I haven’t repeated my reading for the second time within a specific time period. I would lose what I read.
- In my opinion, even though I can learn many things in my life, focusing on one thing at a time might be a better approach to reading. If I have finished reading twice, then I can go to the next book.

- Today, I am trying to do a prolonged fasting for 60 hrs (12+24+24 hrs) to ensure that I have certainly got BDNF. Then I won’t fast on working days(just IF 12/12) and see if it’s better than alternate day or not.
- Another perfect method may be 3 feeding days(IF 12/12 with 5 meals a day and HIIT in the evening/after work) and prolonged fasting for 2 days.
- The advantage is that eating 5 meals a day like an athlete is not interrupting life routines, considerably safe, and does not cause inflammation from high blood sugar, especially when combined with HIIT exercise before a big meal in the evening.
- 1/2 tsp of salt dissolved in a bottle of 1.5 liters of water is very fine in helping protect against hypotension from the loss of sodium. It is equal to 0.2% w/w of sodium chloride solution(3g/1500g x 100=0.2%)(normal NSS concentration is 0.9%).
- Another method that I think would also work great is to eat for 4 days(5 meals and 6 meals for the last day) and then prolong fasting for 3 days, which has a higher ratio of fast to feed days 3:4 than 2:3. - I found that Game addiction does not matter to me if I’ve been fasting for 2 days, because my thoughts are much clearer, which causes me to feel waste of time to play the game. Which means that addiction isn’t caused by games themself, but by the bad mind that can’t read books.

- I just find that alternate day fasting is always better than eating normally for two days, then fasting only one complete day, even though you eat too much or late night on feeding day
